On october 19, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Iain Watt and 03keting Manager (North China) Ms. Michelle Wang of the University of Western Australia visited Lixin University. Vice President Chen Jingying received these distinguished guests.

Chen Jingying first extended a warm welcome to Vice-Chancellor Iain Watt and his colleagues on behalf of Lixin. Then, Chen introduced the university, which has just undergone combination process, in terms of discipline construction, source of students, faculty and scientific researches resources. She also expressed her wish to consolidate and deepen the cooperation with the original partners of the University, especially University of Western Australia.

Vice Chancellor Iain Watt introduced the status of University of Western Australia among universities in Australia and the world, as well as its scientific research output, dominant majors like accounting and finance. Besides, Iain Watt hoped to expand the cooperation with Lixin and spoke highly of the performance of exchange students of Lixin studying in UWA.
