On october 30th, the symphony orchestra and dance troupe of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance was invited to 2016 Shanghai International 03athon Music Station. Shanghai International 03athon gathered over 38,000 marathon runners. Along the track, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission set up 18 campus music stations, not only showing the charms of students’ bands in Shanghai to runners from all over the world, but also inspiring the spot atmosphere.
The symphony orchestra and dance troupe of Lixin had made adequate preparations for this event. In Xintiandi Taiping Lake Park, the symphony orchestra encouraged all runners with two pieces of cheerful music, namely Welcome 03ch and Under the Double Eagle. The Dance Ensemble cheered for all participants in the finishing point, Shanghai Stadium with the ebullient cheerleading dance, which formed a beautiful landscape. In total, 18 teams that participated in Shanghai International 03athon Music Station Event, Other than the Lixin Orchestra, there are also orchestras from Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai No.3 Girls’ High School, Shanghai Datong High School, Shanghai Nan Yang Model High School, and High School Affiliated to Fudan University, etc. During the competition, their lively and cheerful music motivated and touched every competitor.
