On Tuesday, 30 May 2017 IBA Confucius Classroom held the Dragon Boat Festival to celebrate this long marked Chinese cultural holiday.
IBA Confucius Classroom prepared some Dragon Boat Festival specialties:
rice dumplings (Zongzi) with pork fillings in bamboo leaves and two types of spring rolls: with vegetable and pork fillings.
As usual, Chinese tea was served with different fruits.
IBA staff members, students and the students of the Chinese language courses were introduced to the traditions of this festival after which they were shown how to make their own rice dumplings.
At the end, the participants were rewarded with small gifts of chopsticks, scent bags and panda key chains.
