On march 24, the external audit experts of Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), including 06e McCamlie, Evelyn Kelly, 03tin Kelly, Chris Atkinson, and Iain Walker, arrived at SLUAF for the audition of five courses opened by the HND Program Center of SLUAF School of International Education, namely Information Technology I, Business English, Introduction to Business Law, Business Accounting and Human Resources Organization and Management. All courses successfully passed the audit.
During the external audit, the experts read in details related audit materials provided by the School of International Education, and communicated with the members of the program team and the faculties and students of the program with regard to the audit materials. They also conducted a field investigation on the library, classroom, machine room and other teaching facilities and resources of SLUAF. The five experts all highly affirmed the hardware facilities, teaching, appraisal and teaching management work of SLUAF HND Program Center, acknowledged the advanced practice in many courses, and also proposed their valuable opinions and suggestions about how to further improve the teaching quality under this program.
HND is an excellent educational program certified by the Education Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and introduced in 2003 by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) (a public organization under the Ministry of Education (MOE)) and SQA through cooperation. In december, 2014, SLUAF signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CSCSE, and officially became a strategic partner to CSCSE and an authorized university of SQA’s HND program. Currently the program is operated and managed by SLUAF School of International Education.
