On October 24th and October 31st, Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance (SLU) held Year 2019 Graduates On-Campus Job Fair in Songjiang Campus and Pudong Campus respectively. Wang Junhua, Vice Principal and Deputy Secretary of SLU Party Committee, Zhao Rongshan and Zhu Yabing, SLU Vice Principal went to the fair and gave the direction.

In order to build an effective platform for “two-way choice” for graduates and employers,  providing more quality employment opportunities, SLU Employment and Entrepreneurship Office carefully prepared and selected 400 high-quality enterprises from the 800-plus applicants, including Shanghai Construction Group, China SFECO Group, Zhonghua Certified Public Accountants (Special General Partnership) Firm, China Jinshan United Trading Co., Ltd., Ningbo Bank Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch and Yihai Kerry Investment Co., Ltd, offering more than 1,500 posts and recruiting for more than 9,000 candidates with covering all the majors of our school. The job fair attracted numerous enterprise applicants, and Shanghai Oracle Bay and Tax Agents Association even signed up as a group.

More than 2,000 students were attracted at the fair. The site was in good order and the students carefully studied the posters and brochures of various companies, asked about career development and remuneration package, and participated in the interviews. Corporate employers introduced the recruitment situation to the students and recruited talents for their own companies. At the onsite interviews, most graduates had relatively clear self-planning goals. Most companies valued the professional quality and social practice of the job seekers.

School leaders Wang Junhua, Zhao Rongshan and Zhu Yabing encouraged the students to adjust their mindset, actively attend the company selection and fully demonstrate the good spirit of our students. The school leaders carefully asked about the information of the employers and talked with the company staff about the recruitment situation. They hoped that the employers would deepen their cooperation with our school and choose more talents from our school. The job fair was hosted by the Employment and Entrepreneurship Office and strongly supported by the Party Committee Security Department, the Logistics Management Department, the Logistics Service Center, and the School of Sports and Health.
