SLU Students Making Great Achievements in “Peak Time” National Business Simulation Contest

Recently, the final of the 11th “Peak Time” National Business Simulation Contest has concluded with great success. In the business decision contest with their peers from Tsinghua University, Beijing University, Renmin University of China and other universities, the student group of SLU led by teacher Kong Lingxian performed well, and won one second prize and two third prizes. To be specific, our Wakiki team (including Dong Penglin, Li Tianrui, Long Zhijie and Zhang Jingjing) won a second prize; our FLAMES team (including Chen Yueying, Qi Ji, Yue Na and Mao Yujie) and sunflower team (including Wang Meixia, Zhou Zhanhui, Li Yunfeng and Zhang Jia) won third prizes, respectively.
The “Peak Time” National Business Simulation Contest is an international platform-based business simulation contest. The “Peak Time” International Contest is hosted by the Stockholm School of Economic, and, as one of the largest international business simulation contests in Europe, it enjoys extensive international influence. The “Peak Time” National Business Simulation Contest is a contest based in China that has attracted the active participation of higher education institutions nationwide. The contest has many highly competitive participants that compete with each other in three links, that is, business practice, strategic analysis and reply in English.
SLU actively encourages its students and faculty members to take part in international platform-based business contests, aiming to create a benign teaching mode of “promoting education with contests”. International platform-based business contests play a very active role in cultivating students’ business analysis ability, broadening their international vision and developing high-level financial young professionals.
