On october 28, Professor Tang Haiyan, President of Lixin University, had a friendly meeting and signed an agreement with Professor Iris Chi from University of Southern California, appointing Professor Chi as the Distinguished Professor of the School of Finance and Public Administration. Graduated from University of California-Los Angeles, Chi is now holding a post in USC School of Social Work. Chi has profound influence in her professional field. She has been working in the University of Hong Kong for many years and was awarded Bauhinia Star Prize. Now, she is a member of American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare and honorary professor of many famous Chinese and foreign universities like UBC, Peking University, and Fudan University.
Distinguished professor is one of the “flexible” methods adopted by Lixin to introduce high-level talents and senior experts from famous universities home and abroad to lead and guide the academic and professional development and team building of Lixin. Now, we have in total 17 distinguished professors who have almost covered all disciplines of Lixin.
