For the purposes of comprehensively improving talent cultivation quality, deepening industry-education integration and promoting bank-university cooperation, the signing ceremony of the Industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between SLUAF and the Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China was held in the ABC Tower on the afternoon of march 21. Present at the ceremony were Tang Haiyan, SLUAF President; Gu Xiaomin and Zhao Rongshan, Vice Presidents of SLUAF; Hu Xinzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of ABC Shanghai Branch; Niu Mingxia, General Manager of the Institutional Business Division of ABC Head Office; Zhang Bo, Secretary of the Committee for Discipline Inspection and Vice President of the Shanghai Branch; and Qian Hong, Vice President of the Shanghai Branch.
At the signing ceremony, Tang Haiyan presented a passionate speech, and appreciated the Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China for its long-term support and assistance to the construction and development of SLUAF. She emphasized that, since its establishment, the new university had energetically made great efforts to construct a student development-focused talent cultivation system and a social demand-oriented academic research & disciplinary development, actively explored applied talent cultivation pattern reform, continuously perfected its applied talent cultivation pattern, further deepened government-industry-university-research cooperation, and continuously improved its overall educational quality. The Industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China is signed in the background of the state deepening comprehensive educational reform and enhancing university innovation capacity, and is based on the long-term cooperation between the two parties and in particular on the phased achievements made by the two parties in the joint construction of “Pujiang Institute”. This cooperation will more fully bring into play the advantageous resources of both parties, build a closer industry-university-research strategic cooperation alliance relationship, and help us better adapt to the developmental demands of modern financial industry and make new achievements in terms of financial talent cultivation, financial HR development and financial development decision-making consultation & research, etc.
As pointed out by Hu Xinzhi in his speech, signing this agreement is a big decision made by both parties in face of new developmental opportunities, and the Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China will continue to utilize its advantages in the financial field, combine them with the resources of the university in talent cultivation, academic research, and so forth, build a platform integrating scientific research, talents and finance, promote complementary advantages and resource sharing, and write a new chapter in the history of bank-university cooperation. Niu Mingxia, on behalf of the Head Office of the Agricultural Bank of China, expressed her congratulations to the signing ceremony, and promised that the Agricultural Bank of China would further enhance its policy support, substantially support its Shanghai Branch in providing higher-quality and more convenient financial services to Shanghai SLUAF University of Accounting and Finance and elevate the level of bank-university cooperation.
Gu Xiaomin and Qian Hong signed the agreement on behalf of both parties, respectively. After the signing ceremony, the leaders present at the ceremony visited the bank history museum of the Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China, and exchanged ideas with each other about cooperation issues.
