On 03ch 28, President Tang Haiyan and Vice President Gu Xiaomin warmly received the delegation led by Philip Turnbull, CEO of AIA, and Chen Zhenlu, CEO of Metro Education. They jointly attended the event in memorial of the 20-year anniversary of cooperation with AIA, reviewed the developmental course of their educational cooperation in the past two decades, and discussed their vision of future development.
President Tang Haiyan presented a speech at the event, saying that both AIA and Metro Education had been great partners to Lixin and had laid a solid cooperation foundation with Lixin, and that the cooperative education program between the two parties had been very smooth and pleasant since its establishment in 1997. He also expressed his hope that the two sides would continue to strengthen their high-end international training program and deepen and expand their cooperation in terms of introducing well-known overseas universities and so forth.
Vice President Gu Xiaomin talked about the great importance attached by Lixin to accountant qualification certificate training and academic education. Currently new breakthroughs have been made in terms of occupational training and degree certification, which will facilitate the development of AIA in the Chinese market. In the process of “building of four centers” in Shanghai, it’s our hope that the cooperation of “LIXIN brand and AIA brand” will play a more significant role and provide mutual support to each other.
Philip Turnbull and Chen Zhenlu appreciated Lixin for its constant support to AIA programs, and expressed their wish for deeper cooperation in the future.
Responsible persons of the School of International Finance and Economics also attended the event.
