In order to further promote the employment of the 2020 graduates, SLU held the “100-Day Sprint Action for Employment in July” On-Campus Job Fair for 2020 Graduates. A total of 25 enterprises, including Giant Interactive Group Inc., Shanghai Construction No. 7 (Group) Co., LTD, Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. Ltd., Shanghai DALU Futures Co., Ltd., Zhonghua CPA, Shanghai Certified Public Accountants, Fusun Financial Shared Service Center, etc., attended the Fair with a total demand of 685 jobs. Nearly 70 SLU graduates attended the Fair and submitted more than 310 resumes. Based on the strong and real demands of both parties, the enterprises and students were both satisfied with the Job Fair. Some graduates signed employment agreements with the enterprises on site.
According to the epidemic prevention requirements proposed by the higher authorities and SLU, the Job Fair was arranged in the form of a small on site fair. All participants must show their green health codes, be checked with their ID cards or campus cards, go through temperature measurement, wear masks, and cooperate with the organizer in disinfection and other epidemic prevention measures. Besides, there were school doctors on the spot, and off-campus professionals were invited to provide employment policy advices and career guidance for the graduates.
In 2020, the Admission and Employment Office has organized more than ten online job fairs for the 2020 graduates. As an activity of the “100-Day Sprint for Employment” campaign, the on site Job Fair aims to motivate the graduates’ enthusiasm in offline recruitment and promote the employment. The Job Fair was strongly supported by the Employment Promotion Center of Songjiang District, the Songjiang Talent Service Center, and the Office of G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta. Some enterprises in Songjiang District were invited to participate in the Fair. Besides, the Fair was assisted by the Department of Logistics and Services, the CPC Committee Security Department, the School of Physical Education and Health and other departments.
