An SLU student obtains the highest score in one subject of ACCA exam in Mainland China

Recently, ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Shanghai sent a letter of congratulation to the School of Accounting to congratulate Zhu Qiulin from the ACCA class of 2018 for obtaining the highest score in FR (Financial Reporting) in the ACCA Qualification Exam in Mainland China in July 2020. This is the fifth time that a student of the School of Accounting, SLU has obtained the highest score in a single subject of the ACCA Examin Mainland China.


ACCA is currently the world's largest, most recognized, and fastest-growing international professional accountant organization, with 227,000 members and 544,000 students in 179 countries around the world. In 2017, the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Financial Talent Development in Shanghai included ACCA members in the catalog of financial talents who are urgently needed and in short supply in Shanghai. The ACCA program of SLU aims at cultivating outstanding accounting professionals able to practice internationally. Through optimizing talent training and curriculum system, reforming talent training model, and improving supporting management system, we have won a series of honors and achievements in talent training. Zhu Qiulin’s good results in the ACCA exam have also shown the educational achievement of SLU’s ACCA class in the development of talents.
