On September 25th, Dr. Tanya Smith Brice, Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs of Saint Martin’s University, along with her delegation, visited SLU. Liu Yongqin, Vice President for International Relations, warmly welcomed the guests. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the Mulan Meeting Room in the Shangchuan Road campus. The ceremony was hosted by Yao Jie, Director of the International Exchange Office.
Liu Yongqin extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Saint Martin’s University and briefly introduced the basic information about SLU. Dr. Tanya Smith Brice provided an overview of Saint Martin’s University. Both parties discussed student exchange programs.
To enhance students' understanding of different cultures and broaden their international perspectives, our school plans to carry out a two-way customized summer short-term cultural exchange program, a tuition-waiver exchange student program, and a long-term visiting study program with Saint Martin’s University. In the presence of the attending representatives, Liu Yongqin and Dr. Tanya Smith Brice signed the memorandum of cooperation on behalf of their respective institutions. The signing of this memorandum marks a new beginning in the cooperation between the two schools and lays a solid foundation for educational exchanges and collaboration. Both parties will take this cooperation as an opportunity to further deepen their partnership and jointly cultivate high-quality talents with an international perspective.
