On July 17, the Seminar on “Crossover Research on Macroeconomic Policies and Microscopic Corporate Behaviors” sponsored by the Office of Academic Journals of SLU was held online. GuXiaomin (Vice President and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Accounting and Economic Research) delivered a welcome speech. Professor Rao Pingui (the Accounting Department of Jinan University) served as the host of the Seminar and the chief commentator.

The Seminar consisted of three academic reports. Associate Professor Sun Liang (the College of International Finance, Jinan University), Dr. Han Lanlan (the School of Accounting, Shandong Technology and Business University), and Dr. Zeng Yongliang (the Business School of Hunan University) presented the academic reports entitled “Poverty Alleviation and Enterprise Innovation”, “China’s Industrial Policies and Enterprise Cost Stickiness”, and “Does the summary of labor cost stickiness reflect future employment growth?”, respectively. Associate Professor Liang Shangkun (the School of Accountancy, Central University of Finance and Economics), Professor Shen Yongjian (the College of Accounting, Nanjing University of Finance & Economics), and Associate Professor Hu Guoqiang (the College of Accounting, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics) respectively made wonderful comments. Professor Rao Pingui gave a general comment on the three papers, and provided guidance and exchanged ideas on the standard and experience of academic paper writing.
In recent years, macro-micro crossover research has been a hot topic in the field of accounting and economics. This online Seminar has attracted more than 40 experts, scholars and young doctors from University of International Business and Economics, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Central China Normal University, East China University of Science and Technology, Suzhou University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Inner Mongolia University, Anhui University of Technology, Shihezi University, and so one, who actively communicated with each other in a warm atmosphere. The Seminar will play a positive role in improving the academic quality, reputation and influence of SLU’s two academic journals and the special column of “Macroeconomic Policies and Microscopic Corporate Behaviors”.
